In preparation for the upcoming fire season, on May 17 & 18, 2022, the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District will be hosting the San Bernardino County Wildfire Preparedness Drill. The drill will simulate a vegetation fire that will take place near the top of Hermosa Ave. The exercise will include firefighters working on the vegetation fire, firefighters protecting the homes between Beryl St. and Hermosa Ave., and an Incident Command Post at Heritage Park. Please be aware that you may see firefighters, public safety vehicles, and helicopters throughout these two days.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EQUESTRIAN CENTER WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE TRAINING EXERCISE.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this year’s San Bernardino County Wildfire Drill, please call the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District at 1-909-477-2770 or email RCFire@CityofRC.us.
